Jim Chapman Goes Squirrel Hunting in Arizona.

Famed airgun hunter Jim Chapman is a great enthusiast for squirrel hunting. He’s on a quest to achieve the “Grand Slam” of squirrel hunting by bagging examples of all types of native North American tree squirrels – the gray, fox, Abert’s, and black color phase.

This brand new video shows Jim hunting the Abert’s squirrel in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona. As you’ll see, he goes after them with a Brocock Compatto – currently his favorite small game hunting air rifle.

Jim tops off the Compatto with a Hawke scope and fires JSB Exact 18.3 Grain pellets in this rapid-fire squirrel hunting session.

You’ll recall that Hard Air Magazine reviewed the Brocock Compatto recently – also in .22 caliber – and we liked it too. The Compatto received a HAM Gold Award!

We’re delighted to announce that Hard Air Magazine will be carrying Jim’s latest airgun hunting videos in future, as he produces them. Jim has a huge wealth of airgun hunting knowledge and you can also tap into this from his own American Airgun Hunter webpage.

Thanks Jim, we can’t wait to see more of your squirrel hunting action!
