Airgun Depot Makes First Umarex Gauntlet PCP Video.
The latest video from Airgun Depot covers one of the highlights of the 2017 SHOT Show – the $300 Umarex Gauntlet regulated PCP air rifle. It’s the first video review we’ve seen on the Gauntlet and so it’s interesting to see how this pre-production gun performs on test.
This edition of the “Jon and Cameron Show” – oops, make that Airgun Depot’s “Under Pressure” video series – is called Umarex Gauntlet: A Kick Ass $300 Regulated PCP. So it’s pretty clear that they like this new PCP air rifle!
The Airgun Depot team say that the Umarex Gauntlet is going to change the game and remove the barriers to entry for PCP buyers.
As for consistent shot count – one of the big promises of the Umarex Gauntlet – Jon and Cameron show 80 consistent shots for the .22 caliber pre-production gun they’re testing. This compares well to the manufacturer’s claim of 60 consistent shots.
And Jon achieves 3/4-inch, 10-shot groups shooting the Gauntlet with multiple pellet types. This demonstrates that accuracy is there, too.
