Extreme Benchrest 2015 – Day 4
Day 4 of Extreme Benchrest 2015 saw the Extreme Big Bore competition, together with the Speed Silhouette finals and Extreme Benchrest finals. And, of course, the Awards Banquet!
The Top Three winners in the Extreme Benchrest competition are pictured above. Jon Reimers (on the right in our photo) was the outright winner with – SCORE. He took home a check for $1,000.00 to spend at Airguns of Arizona. Noah Sever (center in the group above) was second, winning $500.00. Irwin Segerman was third, winning $250.00.
Everything about Extreme Benchrest 2015 was extreme! From the 108 degree temperature on Day One, to the 200 yard Extreme Big Bore range, the 100 yard Extreme Benchrest competition and the extreme wind conditions experienced on Day 4. The event was well named!
Below we see Peter Plessinger shooting the 200-yard Extreme Big Bore competition. This was a new event for Extreme Benchrest 2015 and will likely be the first of many to come in future.
Some of the big bore guns were LOUD!
The finals of the Speed Silhouette drew the biggest crowd of spectators for the day.
Competitors in the Speed Silhouette final had to face strong, gusting winds that even view over some of the silhouettes before the context began. Below we see Val Simmons, the winner of this event, preparing to fire.
Below, young Keyon Beyrami was delighted with his performance. He finished second in the junior Speed Silhouette finals.
Lined-up on the benches, ready to go. Just look at those guns!
Now with competitors…
Here’s the view downrange towards the 100 yard targets.

This was a great event. See you there next year!
