Team Air Arms Scores at World Field Target Championship 2015
Field Target shooters from the UK had a successful trip to Lithuania for the World Field Target Championship 2015, with some great results from Team Air Arms shooters.
Air Arms shooter Jack Harris came a very close second in the Open Class and missed out on being crowned World Champion by just one point! Having finished the first day in the lead, Jack continued to prove great competition to his fellow shooters. Not to be outdone, Ian Taylor, Dorian Falconer, Andrew Calpin and Simon Evans all shot great rounds with their Air Arms air rifles – all placed in the top ten.
Paula Schofield proudly collected 3rd place in the PCP Ladies Class with her ever-trusty Air Arms EV2, while Stephen Privett came 1st in the Springer Class with his TX200.
Overall, five of the top ten competitors in the World Field Target Championship 2015 Open Class shot with an Air Arms rifle as well as winning the Springer Class and being placed highly in all other categories. With such great results from Air Arms shooters in this years’ competition, it goes to show why the ever-expanding range of rifles continues to grow in popularity.
