New Remington Shooting Glasses

All airgunners will be familiar with the need to protect their eyes when shooting.

The manufacturer says that all Remington shooting glasses meet ANSI Z87.1 High Mass and High Velocity impact safety and optical standards. They also meet EN 166 Safety Certification, for OSHA-grade protection when shooting and hunting.

With 100% UV protection and Wiley X’s T-Shell scratch-resistant lens coating, the lenses are claimed to provide clear, comfortable vision under a wide range of conditions.

The tumbled and polished frames feature double injected rubber temple tips for a secure, no-slip fit during rigorous outdoor activities. A rubberized nose bridge with an adjustable wire core provides added comfort, says Wiley X. This allows each wearer to adjust the viewing angle for optimal sight levels.

These frames are also designed to make it easy for shooters to interchange a variety of 2.2mm lenses. So, it’s possible to select the best lens tint and light transmission for varying shooting conditions.

Remington Platinum Grade Eyewear is offered in a variety of packages and lens colors.

Wiley X also offers a Remington Shooting/Safety Line. These are claimed to be suitable for use hunting or on the range. These Remington shooting glasses feature adjustable temples that let the wearer change the tilt and fit of the frame for optimum performance and comfort. Again, a choice of lens colors is offered.
