2017 SHOT Show poll results

As a reminder.  Here’s some more information on our contestants for the most interesting air rifle announced at the 2017 SHOT Show:

The Benjamin Marauder Field & Target Edition.

This is the updated Marauder that includes a switchable regulator. This gives the ability to select full power shots of similar FPS to the existing “Generation 2” Marauder or, alternatively, a long, flat shot string at lower FPS. MSPR for the Benjamin Marauder Field & Target Edition is $620. You can see more details in HAM’s Day One Report from the SHOT Show.

The Benjamin Wildfire.

The Wildfire is a PCP version of the Crosman 1077. With an MSRP of just $150, this is the lowest-priced PCP air rifle in the market today. Again, more details were in HAM’s Day One Report from the SHOT Show.

The Gamo Swarm Maxxim.

This breakthrough air rifle combines break barrel operation, together with a 10-shot rotary magazine. MSRP is $250. Check out HAM’s report on Industry Day at the Range for more details.

The Umarex Gauntlet.

This new introduction has a headline-grabbing MSRP of $299. For that, Gauntlet offers fully-regulated, full power shooting with an incredibly long, flat, shot curve. We have more about this in HAM’s Day Two Report from the SHOT Show.

The Umarex Hammer.

A .25 Caliber, Big Bore monster PCP hunting air rifle with a claimed 700 Ft/Lbs of muzzle energy. More details at HAM’s Day Two Report from the SHOT Show.
