Leapers UTG 8-32X56 Scope now with G4 Dot Reticle

Designed for long-range shooting, the Leapers UTG 8-32X56 scope has just been updated with the G4 or German no. 4 Dot etched glass reticle.

In an era of increasingly-complex reticle designs, some air rifle shooters still favor the simplicity of the G4 Dot reticle for its clean, straight-to-the-point crosshair. They say that it helps the eye quickly locate the center of the reticle for an immediate focus and acquisition on the target.

The floating dot is the only portion of the G4 Dot reticle that illuminates and assists aiming under different light conditions. The Illumination Enhancing (IE) System provides either red/green or any color from the 36 color to accommodate any light situation.

Like all other UTG scopes, the Leapers UTG 8-32X56 scope is built on Leapers True Strength Platform that resists the heavy forward and reverse recoil of magnum spring air rifles. Leapers say that the 30mm diameter tube is completely sealed and nitrogen filled, making it shock-proof, fog-proof, and rain-proof.

Further suitability for air rifle use is provided by the Side Wheel Adjustable Turret (SWAT)  focusing system. This provides parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity. There are also premium zero lockable and resettable windage/elevation target turrets. Leapers say that further aiming precision is offered by the very fine turret adjustment of just 1/8 MOA per click.

Leapers also offers an optional big wheel for precise control of the side parallax adjustment, if required by the shooter.

Additionally, the manufacturer tells us that the updated Leapers UTG 8-32X56 scope features emerald lens coatings. This coating is intended to achieve maximum light transmission for best image clarity.

The Leapers UTG 8-32X56 scope includes bonus flip-open lens caps and high profile Max Strength Picatinny/Weaver rings.

The scope has the product code SCP3-UG832G4 and has an MSRP of $369.95. To find out more, check out www.leapers.com.
