More From The 2023 SHOT Show – Airgun Optics And PCPs

The 2023 SHOT Show news keeps on coming! Today we’re looking at some new airgun optics and yet more PCPs that are new – to me at least…

Leapers announced their new premium quality Integrix scope line last year. This year we have solid details and availability dates for these products, and advanced news of a forthcoming range of Accushot Pro scopes that will be following them out of the gate.

In our heading photograph above, Wendy Pan from Leapers shows us a prototype Accushot Pro 3-12 x 44 FFP scope. This is pretty compact. But – in big news for airgunners – there’s also to be a “Bugbuster-sized” 3-9 x 36 FFP model with 30 mm tube that focuses down to 10 Yards and is planned for pricing around the $430 mark.

But first, here’s more details of the Integrix airgun optics. They’re clearly aimed at the longer-range shooter who wants the highest optical quality for use with a to-end PCP air rifle. All include etched-glass reticles (MOA or MRAD) and 34 mm tubes.

Meanwhile, over with Hawke Optics, VP of Sales and Marketing Kevin Sheehan showed me the company’s new laser rangefinding binoculars. If you’re hunting with an air rifle, you need to know your target’s range EXACTLY!

As an enthusiastic airgunner himself, Kevin knows that’s why you need a pair of Hawke Frontier LRF binoculars!

So, while there’s plenty of airgun optics to see, there were even more PCP air rifles, it seemed.

Stoeger Airguns introduced a new bullpup model – the XM1 Bullshark – last year. This year, they’ve added a .25 caliber version to the range.

Then there’s the world’s largest airgun manufacturer – Snowpeak Airguns. Most people have not heard of Snowpeak as it’s purely an OEM manufacturer. They don’t sell under their own brand.

Here Annie Yu showed me the company’s latest PCPs, the engagingly-named “T-Rex” models. There’s a full-length rifle…

… and here we see a close-up of the bullpup version’s cocking action.

A Snowpeak model I had not seen before is the MAT 300. This is a 10 Meter PCP intended for entry-level competitors. Annie told me that it’s regulated and conforms to ISSF standards.
