New Air Venturi EC-3000 Compressor By Hill
The new Air Venturi EC-3000 Compressor by Hill is the latest model from the British manufacturer Ernest Hill Ltd. The company says that it’s the result of no less than 182 years of engineering, research and development.
The unit is also designed, manufactured and assembled by Hill Pumps in their Sheffield, UK factory. Hill says that the EC-3000 Compressor has a number of changes and improvements including some new features, making the compressor even more reliable, durable and providing a better user experience.
This new model incorporates a built-in automatic air pressure purge system. This kicks in whenever the motor on the compressor stops, for example when it goes into a cooling cycle and when a fill is paused or finished.
Hill says that this not only takes the strain off the motor when starting again against very high pressures, but has the added benefit of purging the air, including any moisture from inside the unit.
This is very important for people filling larger rifles and or cylinders.
The new Air Venturi EC-3000 Compressor by Hill also benefits from a new super durable shuttle valve.
Hill says that this shuttle valve does give the compressors a unique sound compared to other compressors out there on the market. But they are very efficient, extremely long lasting and when you hear that sound you will now instantly that it is a Hill Compressor!
There’s also a new digital pressure sensor with an additional analogue gauge. This also means that you no longer need to re-calibrate the compressor during a major service.
The compressor can set to fill any pressure from 755 PSI up to 4,500 PSI.
The included silicone oil is used all the time by the pump and should need replacing after approximately 50 hours of run time,. This is also the correct point to change the crank oil.
The Air Venturi EC-3000 Compressor by Hill also has a completely new electronic architecture along with completely new software. As with all Hill products, the electronics have been designed and tested in house by their own software, and electronics engineers.
Believe it or not, the PCBs are manufactured in Sheffield too!
The price is $1,499.99.
For the necessary moisture protection for your gun and compressor, HAM suggests that you add the Hill Dry-Pac Pro dessicant system. This is fully compatible with both the EC-3000 evo and the original EC-3000 models.
