New Air Venturi Nomad III Portable Compressor
The new Air Venturi Nomad III Portable Compressor is now in stock at Pyramyd Air. This is an improved version of the previous model with a focus on making it faster and easier to re-charge your PCP air rifle.
The manufacturer says that the Nomad III has the same great features as the Nomad II HPA compressor, including its compact size and portability. But there are some important upgrades that make it better than ever.
HAM reviewed the Nomad II back in 2018 and liked it.
Unquestionably the new feature that users of the older version will appreciate the most is the reduced fill times. The upgrades to the newer model mean it fills airguns up to 25% faster than before, which results in less time spent waiting and more time spent shooting.
In addition, the Air Venturi Nomad III now requires less maintenance than the prior version. It no longer needs to be lubricated with silicone oil every few fills, making it easier and more convenient for frequent use.
This is still a compact compressor that can be taken to the field or a range because it operates off of a 12V car battery with the included jumper cables. When using a regular 110V or 220V outlet, the built-in power supply is used. This provides multiple options to get power wherever and whenever needed.
The maximum fill pressure is 4,500 PSI.
Another feature that returns from the previous model that users really appreciate is the adjustable automatic shut-off. Simply set the compressor to the desired fill pressure – up to that 4500 PSI maximum – and it will automatically stop filling at that pressure.
The weight of the Nomad III is 19.6 Lbs and it’s supplied with a travel bag for convenient transportation. The price is $849.99, including a 1-year limited warranty.
