New Heckler & Koch HK416 CO2 BB Rifle
Joining the ever-growing range of CO2-powered centerfire replicas is the new Heckler & Koch HK416 CO2 BB Rifle. This new H&K model is an officially-licensed product from Umarex USA and it’s due to be shipping in just a few weeks. (Pyramyd Air shows in stock as of Jan 28, 2022).
The HK416 BB gun features a 36-shot drop-free magazine that also holds two 12 Gram CO2 cartridges to provide the power. The maximum claimed Muzzle Velocity is 450 FPS and two modes of fire are available: semi-automatic and 6-round burst.
Flip-up front and rear sights are provided. The BB gun also carries Picatinny rails. The top one can be used to mount a suitable red dot sight or scope.
In addition, there’s Picatinny rails along the sides and underneath the stock forend. So there’s plenty of opportunity to add lasers, lights or other appropriate accessories.
Our friends at Leapers have a wide selection of additional toys – er, make that essential accessories – that will work well with this gun. We loaded some onto a Bushmaster MPW as you can see from photos of the HAM test review of that BB gun. You’ll undoubtedly have similar plans for your H&K!
In addition, the Heckler & Koch HK416 CO2 BB Rifle is fitted with an AR-style pistol grip and tactical buttstock.
Size-wise, this HK416 BB gun is a close replica of the HK416A5 powder-burner. However – at 5.25 Lbs – the weight sounds as if it’s lighter than the firearm original by a Pound or two.
The Street Price is $149.99. So this is an attractively-priced offering that’s likely to be attractive to many for their on-going combats with feral soda cans and similar targets!
