New Umarex Zelos And More Launched At 2024 SHOT Show

We’ve already seen the new AirJavelin FishR, launched by Umarex USA at the 2024 SHOT Show. Now let’s look at some more new products, including the Umarex Zelos PCP air rifle.

That’s Umarex USA Marketing Manager Scott Faldon showing us the new PCP in our heading photograph above. And here’s a close-up of the action.

Umarex Zelos

Scott explained to me that the Umarex Zelos is a “big brother” to the HAM Gold Award-winning Umarex Notos that has become so popular in a short time since it’s introduction last year.

The Zelos is a regulated, sidelever PCP that’s to be available in .22 and .25 calibers. There’s high-capacity magazines holding 20 rounds in .22 cal and 18 rounds in .25 caliber.

The 3,625 PSI HPA tube is fed into the action via an adjustable regulator. Scott told me that this regulator can be set for pressures between 1,000 and 2,000 PSI. The result is a maximum Muzzle Energy of 26 Ft/Lbs in .22 and 36 Ft/Lbs in .25 cal.

The Umarex Zelos looks to be an exciting new product and HAM plans to be reviewing it as soon as possible. Availability should be in the Summer.

Umarex continues to press ahead with new versions of its popular Gauntlet family. Now there’s sidelever versions of the Gauntlet in .22 and .25 calibers, to complement the .30 caliber model launched recently.

Above, Scott shows us the new model. The name is now officially “Umarex Gauntlet 2 SL25” (or SL22), where SL stands for Side Lever and the figures the caliber.

Pyramyd Air already is showing the SL22 and SL25 available for pre-order, with an expected delivery date of early March.

Umarex Gauntlet 2 SL PCP Air Rifle 0.25Then there’s the new Umarex Iconix. This low-priced PCP will sell for around $160 and be available in .22 caliber only.

The Iconix has a sidelever action, 8-shot rotary magazine and fills to 3,000 PSI. Muzzle Energy is given as 26.43 Ft/Lbs with 11.9 Grain pellets, so we can probably expect more with heavier ammo.

It’s a light weight, compact model – full specifications to follow…
