New Webley Raider Air Rifles Launched

In news from the UK, Highland Outdoors has announced the launch of two new Webley Raider PCP air rifles. Undoubtedly these would have been launched at the now-delayed 2020 IWA OutdoorClassics show in Germany that should be running right now.

The two models are similar. Both have classic “wood and metal” styling. Bolt-action operation and a Picatinny optics rail are common, too.

The big difference is the different sound suppression methods employed. The Webley Raider Classic has a standard 1/2-Inch UNF thread cut into the end of the barrel. This allows a screw-on silencer to be fitted.

The Quantum Classic version has an integrated shroud-based noise-reduction system. This provides a shorter overall length than when a “can” silencer is fitted to the base Classic. The result is a definite carbine appearance…

Highland Outdoors tells HAM that both Webley Raider models are fitted with a fully-adjustable, two-stage trigger. Both have an ambidextrous Walnut stock with adjustable buttpad and there’s fine checkering on the wood.

Standard UK-spec (11.5 Ft/Lbs Muzzle energy) and FAC (Fire Arms Certificate, ie high power) versions are available in both .177 and .22 calibers. Fill pressure is 200 bar (2,900 PSI) for all models.

Two magazines are provided per gun. The .177 caliber magazine holds 14 pellets; the .22 cal capacity is 12 shots.

The Webley Raider Classic is available now in the UK at a Suggested Retail Price from £449.99. The Quantum Classic is slated for availability in “early 2020”, with a SRP from £489.99.

UK customers can contact Highland Outdoors by email to or phone at 0345 099 0252.

There’s no news yet of price and/or availability in the USA.
