Now There’s A Daystate Blackwolf Zero Air Rifle

The Daystate Blackwolf Zero is a second new model that will be publicly launched by the manufacturer at the 2026 British Shooting Show in Birmingham from February 13 – 15.

(The other is the BRK Ghost Zero that HAM covered in this previous post).

The Blackwolf Zero is designed to be a baseline chassis configuration for the platform. For this reason it offers a simplified feature-set that an enthusiastic owner can use as a blank canvas to customize for their own specific requirements, Daystate explains.

Yet the Blackwolf Zero remains a full-featured gun that can be used successfully “as is” by a wide variety of airgunners.

Let’s look at the differences…

One obvious change is that the Zero has a generic pistol grip, as opposed to the target grip with thumb shelf of other Blackwolf chassis models.

Another is the shorter forend rail. This is also of simpler configuration, with less M-LOK slots etc. After all, not everyone wants – or needs – a great number of accessories mounted below the HPA tube. But we need to point out that there are still 9 M-LOK slots on that new rail!

As with the Ghost Zero, this is a “tube gun” only. There’s no HPA bottle version.

Another difference is in the cocking lever. The Daystate Blackwolf Zero features the same (very acceptable in my opinion) cocking lever as the BRK Ghost. This is instead of the “race lever” fitted to other models.

One invisible change is that this Zero does not include the tensioned barrel system fitted to other Blackwolf variants. However this could be purchased and fitted as an upgrade, should the owner want in future.

In other respects, the Zero offers the core functionality and capabilities that earned the Blackwolf an easy HAM Gold Award on test. As with the Ghost Zero, this is an addition to the existing Blackwolf range and US availability is planned for late January/early February 2026, AoA tells us.
