Pre-Launch CAD Files Show A Second New Evanix Bullpup Air Rifle.
Amazingly, Hard Air Magazine has a second World-wide scoop within two days! Now we see CAD drawings of a second new Evanix bullpup air rifle!
This looks very much like another version of the gun we revealed two days ago. The main difference seems to be that it has a separate, interchangeable carbon-fiber tank with – we are told – 480 cc capacity. The guess must be that this would give a significant extra shot count compared to the other version already previewed.
Again, this model is said to have a blowback action and it will, apparently, be available in the same multiple calibers – .177 cal, .22 cal, .25 cal and .302 cal. Evanix has a history of making new models available in a wide range of calibers, so this is not too surprising.
Action is, again, semi-automatic and this second model also has adjustable power output. The weight is said to be even lower than that of the other model at 6 Lbs or less.
Why two different versions of what looks to be an externally similar bullpup, semi-auto action? We don’t know right now. Maybe there are also other differences that we don’t understand…
We’ll continue to guess that both these new guns will see the light of day at the 2017 SHOT Show and that Air Venturi will be the US distributor, as they are for other Evanix airguns.
