The H&N Online Ballistics and Pellet Selector is very easy to use. To start, you can choose “Select Pellet” if you want to browse through the H&N pellet portfolio. Alternatively, choose “Find Pellet” for a guide to the best H&N pellet for your needs.
Whichever path you choose, the H&N Online Ballistics and Pellet Selector will give you valuable data about the energy, the velocity and the ballistic curve of the chosen pellet/airgun combination. This is vital information for accurate shooting and particularly important to ensure ethical, one-shot kills when airgun hunting.
The H&N Online Ballistics and Pellet Selector allows you to input the muzzle velocity of your air rifle. You then simply click on other vital elements that effect ballistics, such as caliber and the distance you plan to shoot at.
Added precision is provided by selecting the range at which you sighted-in the scope and the height of the scope above the bore.
In “Find Pellet” mode, the H&N Online Ballistics and Pellet Selector also selects appropriate pellets based on the type of target you’ll be shooting. These include small game, medium game, large game, small game birds, medium game birds or Field Target.
It takes just a few seconds to select your choices. The result is a series of graphs giving easily-understood information about the performance of the selected pellet using the information you input.
