Retay Air Rifles Now Available in the USA.
Based in Swedesboro NJ, Valken Sports has historically been best known for their significant presence in the paintball market. But now Valken is moving into airguns in a big way! Valken Sports is already the US distributor for Mendoza airguns (from Mexico), for Norica Airguns (from Spain) and now, for Retay air rifles from Turkey.
Based in Konya, Turkey, Retay is a relatively new company, having been founded in 2006. Retay manufactures air rifles, shotguns, blank-firing pistols and spear guns.
The two Retay air rifles now available in the US are the Retay 135x break barrel air rifle and the Retay 100x Underlever air rifle.
Retay 135x Air Rifle.
The Retay 135x Air Rifle is available in both .177 and .22 calibers. Muzzle velocity is specified at 1,100 fps in .177 and 950 fps in .22 cal. This is a break barrel, spring-piston air rifle with fiber optic front sights and a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail.
Length of the Retay 135x air rifle is 43.7 inches and its weight 8.7 lbs. The ambidextrous stock features an adjustable cheek piece. MSRP is $249.95.
The Retay 135X is available with the following stocks: “carbon”, “camo”, “wood”, “Ferrari Red”, “desert” and black. Below, we see the “carbon” stock version. The red and wood stocks are seen in the photo above.
Retay 100x Air Rifle
The Retay 100x is an underlever air rifle. Again, it’s available in both .177 and .22 calibers and has a claimed muzzle velocity of 950 fps in .177 and 750 fps in .22 cal.
The Retay 100x is also 43.7 inches long, but it’s lighter at 7.9 lbs. This model also has an adjustable cheekpiece, fiber optic open sights and a Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. MSRP is $249.95. Stock color is black.
