Turkish Slug Manufacturer Announces New Range
GMAX Defense is a Turkish slug manufacturer that has announced a new range of products.
The company is already involved in the airgun market, being the Turkish distributor of SIG airguns and H&N pellets in Turkey. Now they have started to manufacture a range of slugs in .22 and .25 calibers.
GMAX tells Hard Air Magazine that they use a press of their own design. Also that they use first quality lead to produce the slugs. The company aims for clean slugs of accurate weight and includes quality control inspections in the manufacturing process.
The majority of GMAX slugs use a round nose design. However, they also have some hollowpoint models, together with a boat-tail design in .25 caliber. The company says that they have achieved some impressive accuracy results on test with a variety of PCP air rifles.
The .22 caliber slugs are sold in tins of 150 pieces. 100 slugs are packed per tin in .25 caliber.
