Umarex Airguns At Sturgis Motorcycle Rally GUNFEST
The 2022 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally GUNFEST is a new innovation at the long-running bikers’ event. This year the rally runs from August 5 – 14.
GUNFEST is a three-day interactive event at the Buffalo Chip Shooting Range, from 5 – 7 August. It gives visitors the opportunity to watch demonstrations and test out the latest firearm products, ammunition, accessories and more in a safe and controlled environment. The event is free and open to the public.
In addition, airguns also will be part of GUNFEST! That’s courtesy of Umarex USA. The company will be showcasing the Umarex Airgun Village giving the opportunity for registered participants to shoot some of their most popular models.
“We are extremely excited to be part of the very first GUNFEST,” Umarex USA’s Vice President of Marketing Justin Biddle said. “There’s no better way to experience the modern day power and fun of shooting with air than at a well-run event. “
“We’ll have a variety of airguns available to shoot, “ continued Biddle. “These include our .50 cal Hammer and our very popular arrow shooting rifles – plus we’ll have a couple of airguns that have a happy switch so you can shoot full-auto.”
Among the airguns available for attendees to try are the new .30 caliber Gauntlet, the .50 caliber Hammer and a variety of the company’s very popular full auto BB guns. Umarex will also be showing the AirSaber and AirJavelin to demonstrate the capabilities of arrow-firing airguns.
Additionally, attendees will also be able to purchase Umarex Airguns onsite through GunBroker.com and have them shipped right to their door.
As August is National Shooting Sports Month, it seems like a “win win” for all concerned. HAM certainly congratulates Umarex for being part of this innovative initiative to bring airguns to a wider audience!
