Umarex USA Appoints “JB” VP of Marketing

Umarex USA has announced an addition to their executive leadership team. Justin “JB” Biddle has accepted a new role in Umarex USA as VP of Marketing. “JB”, as he is usually known among his work, family and friends in the industry, has been with the company nearly from the beginning of their operations in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Umarex USA President and CEO, Richard Turner said of this strategic move, “I am excited for the company as JB moves into this expanded role as VP of Marketing to continue to provide a great impact on our business. JB has been instrumental in the growth of Umarex USA and the ideation and development of many of our brands.”

“His strategic approach from the ‘mind of the consumer’ continues to be critical in our focus on designing and providing great products for our customers,” Turner concluded.

Previously director of marketing for Umarex USA, Biddle was responsible for all visual marketing strategies for North America including brand development, product launches, media buying, advertising, and trade shows associated with all product categories. He was also responsible for Umarex USA’s online presence for its brands. In addition, he has been responsible for the organizational development of Umarex USA’s marketing team.

JB also served as Executive Producer of the American Airgunner TV show for six years.

Prior to joining Umarex USA, Biddle served as the Director of Communications at PRADCO Outdoor Brands, a manufacturer and marketer of a variety of hunting and fishing brands. During his time with PRADCO Outdoor Brands, he also served as a graphic designer, art director, and advertising manager. In these capacities, JB created and coordinated visual marketing elements, bought media, developed advertisements, and was responsible for coordinating the professional fishing staff.

Nearing in on a 25-year career in the shooting, hunting, and fishing industry, Biddle holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design from Oklahoma State University Okmulgee and is a graduate of Dale Carnegie. He has served as a volunteer BSA Scout Leader for the past 10 years.
