Daystate Red Wolf Field Target LPR Video Review

HAM brought you exclusive details of the new Daystate Red Wolf Field Target LPR air rifle back in September. It’s a collaboration between Daystate and World Class FT shooter Lauren Parsons to create the ultimate air rifle for Field Target competition.

The Daystate LPR is based on the proven Red Wolf electronic system. It’s pre-programmed with three highly-specific tuned settings and combines the best ART barrel from Lothar Walther with a fixed 300 cc air cylinder.

Now Airguns of Arizona has produced a full-length video on the LPR. It’s complimentary to the interview with Lauren that HAM carries in our story. In it, Jared Clark takes us through “Lauren’s gun” through its paces in detail and on the Field Target range.

If you need a guide to dedicated FT stock terminology – terms like “hamster” and “butt hook” (probably not what you could be excused for thinking!), you’ll also find this as Jared works through the stock’s adjustment capabilities in this video.

For the AoA review, Jared mounts the HAM Gold Award-winning Sightron SIII 10-50 x 60 FT scope. HAM recently tested this scope and was highly impressed with its performance. This scope makes an ideal partner with the Daystate Red Wolf Field Target LPR air rifle.

Daystate Red Wolf Field Target LPR Video Review

The consistent shot count of the LPR borders on the amazing! Jared demonstrates no less than 142 shots at 19 Ft/Lbs and a Standard Deviation of just 7 FPS using JSB Exact Heavy 10.3 Grain pellets.

When set for 12 Ft/Lbs power output, the count climbs to an incredible 344 consistent shots from one fill of High Pressure Air.

These numbers obviously make the LPR capable of running an entire weekend’s practice and competition a single fill of air!
